1st Day of 35th NCO Band Camp.Well, after all.. i decided to post about every single day of my NCO camp.
So i could remember them :D
Doesn't matter if nobody is reading it..
Sucked so much..
Only for the first part, meeting keegan in school..
If i knew this would happen, i would have been so cruel enough to leave him in the lurch and had my father to drive me there.. He asked me to help him carry his bass drum down to foyer becos he doesn't want to, and it dirtied my shirt.. I got so damn pissed off.
Plus, we were late.
Reached CCAB by Taxi.. Great, i was super excited.. Played ice breaking games there.
Shared our band life with our team. Had fun with games.. Aniw,I did chicken dance for forfeit.. haha! I still couldn't forget that.
Met new friends.. Most of them were really friendly! :D
We exchanged numbers after the day..
Went for some drills after that.. Some basic drills that we had learned before under the sun. x_x
Attended lectures after that.. By the director of
SAF band.
Learned lots of stuffs, and quotes for leadership..
Mace work was super fun!!
Boon khim taught me some
WRONG skills..
Learned so much in a day..
Aww.. I can't stop staring at one of its mace which is so shiny and nice, with a lion on top. The unique one,Singapore's Mace.. even the instructors who taught us for mace work and drills is so handsome.. aww...

Then i met Brenda's brother Gervais.
It was such a coincidence that Blossom from STC was in my team!
Super tired.. Went home and slacked.. :D
2nd day of 35th NCO Band CampWasn't late today. :D
Got my father to drive me there.. But he was kind of pissed off cos i led him to the wrong way to CCAB. =(
Then wai ming sms-ed me where am i, i told her i was reaching soon. But in the end, we drove the wrong way.. Couldn't believe she reached at 7.30am, when we were supposed to assemble at 8am. Talked to ACS barker DM then.. He heard my complaints, then we started talking..
Embarassed.. xD
Did drills in the morning.. It was fun, but hentak taki was seriously tiring.. Especially, as the timing was so fast.. i realised that their drills is very different from what we do for band.
I was very shock when i heard that some DMs there, doesn't know what is
Dairi-kiri (Forward March)
I was like.. wth? I thought that all band does drills?This is an important part of discipline!
Especially there's this command which is so confusing, but very interesting.. i think i should teach the band when i come back, and change some drills command. For checking of dressing for formation.
Attended lectures, and breifing for our display band techinques for P.O.P.
2nd part was interesting. By Prof. Ho from NIE, talking about Singapore's band history.
Never knew there was so much information we could learn. Also about the different instruments.
After lunch was Mace work.. :D The part that i liked most..
Just did some recaps and combine.. Well, then.. After, i was wondering.. Will the mace works we learned here be used? I don't think so, unless we are taking the SYF batch. Till now.. I'm still confused about the different mace work for each command, so is blossom, haha.. my blur blur partner.
.Guess we 3 are like the blur-ress Drum Majors ever! :DDLuckily i'm not taking the SYF batch.. Phew..
Brought back my Mace today, everybody was like staring at me.. The MRT, the bus.. =.=
I'm used to it.
Stupid sis, everything also complain.. Bring back mace and practice u also complain, use computer also.. zzz Did i even like hit u with my mace? No right? idiot..
